Most barrages give you one thing to watch — the break, up high. Circuit Breaker gives you two. Every one of its 49 shots lifts on a silver glitter mine, which means a spray of silver throws up from the tube itself at the same moment the shot goes away. You get the effect at ground level and the break above it, forty-nine times over.

Up top there is a mix of colour and dragon eggs — the crackling effect, like a handful of pops scattered across the sky rather than one clean burst. It is the sort of thing you normally start seeing on considerably bigger pieces.
