Roman Myth - 132 Shot

A 132-shot compound that works through its effects rather than repeating one. It opens on golden coco tails — the thick, fizzing trails that climb before they break — carrying bursts of blue, red and silver up with them.

From there it moves through red coco and chrysanthemums, the classic round breaks, into purple and green dahlias — bigger, fewer, longer-lasting petals — falling against crackling willow, the long drooping gold that hangs on the way down. The back half builds on silver strobes and silver tails, golden coco breaking to blue, and red strobes into chrysanthemum, before finishing on layered red, green and blue pearls.

The build matters as much as the effects. It is put together to escalate, so the last third genuinely lands harder than the first — which is what you want from a piece bought to be the centrepiece of a night.

Here is the useful part: for a compound of this size it is category F2 with a 20 metre safety distance. 1,960 grams of content through 25mm and 30mm tubes is display-scale kit, and most pieces built like that want 25 metres. Twenty is within reach of a big garden or a paddock rather than needing a proper field.
